Many of our clients wonder why we recommend using an eye cream. The skin around the eyes is the thinnest skin on our body and because it has no oil glands it ages first. Eye creams are formulated to target specific problems that occur around the eyes such as dark circles, crow’s-feet and sagging. The process of applying an eye cream is as important as choosing the correct cream.
Here are some easy steps of how properly apply an eye cream:
1. Put a small amount (about the size of a pencil eraser) of the eye cream on your ring finger
2. Dab gently around the eye area staring with the bottom-inside area of the eye, and work your way around the eye until you reach the top-outside corner. Make sure to cover the area where you may notice aging or crow’s-feet
3. Pat the area around the eye until all of the cream is absorbed
4. Repeat the same steps in the morning and at night
