This was not the regular Memorial Day weekend in Boston, MA we are used to, but we hope you took some time to relax to enjoy this long weekend with your families and love ones.

We want to take this time to THANK YOU very much for all of your support during this very uncertain and strange time. It’s been … days that Skin Studio in Brighton, MA has been closed. It hasn’t been easy, we all have good days and bad days, being a small business in these challenging times just not knowing how long it’s gonna last and what is next. We love your positive vibes, you all rock, and have been what’s keeping us going!!! We miss humans touch, hugs, and massaging your faces! It’s all been so strange so not have it! We appreciate it so much more now.

Once we open our Skin Studio things will be a bit different, it will take us and you some time adjusting to a new normal. Our hours most likely will change, we’ll figure out our schedule just be patient with us please. We’ll keep you updated on our opening day and procedures.

Introducing Ultrasonic Facial Treatment!

What Is Ultrasonic Facial Treatment?

Here at Skin Studio in Brighton, we’re using the cutting-edge ultrasonic technology that utilizes low-frequency sound waves (ultrasound). Ultrasonic treatment deep cleanses, repairs and stimulates the skin at a cellular level. The ultrasonic facial at Skin Studio is absolutely perfect treatment for all skin types and conditions. Combat aging skin, manage rosacea, reduce wrinkles, clear acne, reduce pore size and reduce hyperpigmentation.

How Does It Work?

The Dermasound “spins” water molecules across the skin in vibration 28,000 times per second, loosening the upper portion of the skin, whirling away dead skin cells, and unleashing the skin’s power of cell turnover and the inner cellular layers of the skin. After deep cleaning your pores with distilled water and ulrasonic we perform, sonophoresis (sono). It creates a temporary microscopic pathways through the lipid portion of the stratum corneum. While molecules in topical preparation are small enough to penetrate, some are too large and require a pathway. With the proper frequency and power density, antioxidants and hydrating topical products can go where they are needed and not simply lie on the top of the skin where they provide no benefit. Sono also heats the skin which stimulates collagen production to help reduce fine lines.
